A Conceptual Model for Event Processing Systems
This is Event Processing Network illustration is taken from a newly published white paper entitled "A Conceptual Model for Event Processing Systems" which has been published on the IBM Developerworks. This work has been done by an internal team from all over IBM (I am not sure that all contributors have been listed) and lead by Catherine Moxey. The conceptual model is based on the event processing network model that I've often discussed in this Blog, and is the main focus of the model described in the EPIA book, around this model some scenarios have been constructed, as well as conceptual architecture, and mapping of the scenarios to the conceptual architecture... I see that there are already around 1000 persons who viewed this white paper (including Paul Vincent who provided the TIBCO's re-view). Read and enjoy!
